Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Matt joined Energy Focus in September 2022 as Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Matt previously served more than 12 years at TCP Lighting, most recently as Senior Vice President, and prior to that, as Vice President Marketing and Products from 2018 to 2019. She has led significant marketing, sales and product roles since 2010. Previously, Ms. Matt served several senior level marketing positions at Knotice, a cloud-based data management platform for the marketing industry. She has over 15 years of operations, sales and marketing experience for lighting and technology companies. Ms. Matt received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from the University of Akron.
Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary, General Counsel
Mr. Warren joined Energy Focus in September 2020 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Energy Focus, Mr. Warren was a corporate and securities lawyer in the legal departments of GrafTech International Ltd. (NYSE:EAF), a global manufacturer of graphite electrodes for electric arc furnace steel production, and FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE:FE), one of the nation’s largest investor-owned electric systems.
Mr. Warren began his legal career at Tucker Ellis LLP in Cleveland, where his work included mergers and acquisitions, securities, and other corporate transactions. Before law school, Mr. Warren worked as an electrical engineer, focusing on research and development of naval sensor systems and digital communications systems. Mr. Warren earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Senior Vice President of Product Management and Engineering
Greg joined Energy Focus in 2021 and serves as Senior Vice President of Product Management and Engineering, responsible for developing, directing and implementing Energy Focus’ product strategy, engineering development and portfolio offering. Greg brings 35 years of diverse experience in the electrical and lighting industries. He began his career at Underwriters Laboratories (UL), where he led engineering teams in various product categories before becoming the Director of UL’s Canada operations. In 2004, Greg joined the product management team of Leviton Manufacturing and later became Director of LED Business Development, helping Leviton navigate the transition from legacy lighting technology to LED. In 2015, he joined Maxlite, Inc. where he was Vice President of Product Development and Engineering, overseeing Maxlite’s extensive product portfolio, R&D, product management and sustaining engineering departments. Greg has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in International Business from Northeastern University.
